Google Photos is enhancing its search functionality with the introduction of a "classic search" toggle, designed to provide users with a more seamless integration of traditional search methods alongside the AI-driven "Ask Photos" feature. This update, which began rolling out today, allows users to easily switch between the two search experiences based on their query needs. Google initially announced the capability in March, but its widespread release marks a significant quality-of-life improvement for managing personal photo libraries.

The new toggle appears at the top of the search results page when "Ask Photos" is enabled.
