Walmart's in-house Onn brand has introduced a new lineup of six budget-friendly Android tablets, all priced under $200 with one exception. The latest offerings aim to provide accessible technology for consumers, with the most affordable model, the Onn Core 7, retailing for just $97. These new tablets are equipped with Android 16 and are designed to compete in the growing affordable electronics market.
The Onn Core 7 features a 7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1040 x 600. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. Walmart estimates the battery life to last up to 10 hours. Stepping up in size, the Core 8.1 offers an 8.1-inch display (1524 x 1000 resolution), 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage, all for $138. Its battery is rated for up to 15 hours. The larger Core 11 boasts an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with a 1840 x 1280 resolution, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of expandable storage, priced at $167, with an impressive 17 hours of battery life.

In addition to the standard models, Walmart is also catering to younger users with two dedicated kids' tablets. These 8-inch and 11-inch devices are available for $118 and $136, respectively, offering durable designs and potentially child-friendly software features. The most premium device in this new collection is the Onn Pro tablet. This model features a larger 13.2-inch display with a 2400 x 1600 resolution, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It is powered by an unnamed 2.6GHz MediaTek processor. Notably, unlike high-end competitors such as the iPad Pro, the Onn Pro bundle includes a folio case and a stylus, adding significant value for its $288 price point.
